I own a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer.It has 143,000 miles on it.
It's fuel pump is mounted inside the gas tank. (For all GM products, I recommend replacing the fuel pump at the first sign of a problem [i.e. inaccurate gas guage readings] or at 100,000 miles, which ever occurs first.) I'm lucky my fuel pump died while I was driving on a city street and only 400 yards from a good mechanic. It would have been disastrous were I on a freeway or in a remote locale.
The bottom line: "No more Detroit iron for brother James".Detroit has worn out their welcome with me.
